3. Personal data protection (GDPR)
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we undertake to protect our users' privacy. The data collected when using our fax service (fax numbers, transmitted documents) is handled in the strictest confidence.
3.1 How documents are handled
Documents transmitted for faxing are:
- Encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest.
- Kept only for as long as transmission requires (at most 24 hours if an attempt fails).
- Automatically and permanently deleted from our servers once transmission succeeds or the delay expires.
3.2 Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data. To exercise these rights, contact our DPO at: dpo@envoifaxgratuit.com.
5. Limitation of liability
Envoi Fax Gratuit strives to keep the service reliable, however:
- We cannot guarantee that the final recipient receives the fax, as that depends on their equipment.
- The user alone is responsible for the content of documents sent through our service.
- The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of continuous availability, though we aim for 99.9% uptime.
