3. Personal data protection (GDPR)
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we undertake to protect our users' privacy. The data collected when using our fax service (fax numbers, transmitted documents) is handled in the strictest confidence.
3.1 How documents are handled
Documents transmitted for faxing are:
- Encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest.
- Kept only for as long as transmission requires (at most 24 hours if an attempt fails).
- Automatically and permanently deleted from our servers once transmission succeeds or the delay expires.
3.2 Where your request came from
To find out which pages lead to faxes being sent, the first page you visit and the name of the site that brought you there (a search engine, for example, without the full address) are kept in your browser tab, without a cookie, and erased when you close it. They only reach us if you send a fax, in which case they are stored with your request.
3.3 Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data. To exercise these rights, contact our DPO at: dpo@envoifaxgratuit.com.
5. Limitation of liability
Envoi Fax Gratuit strives to keep the service reliable, however:
- We cannot guarantee that the final recipient receives the fax, as that depends on their equipment.
- The user alone is responsible for the content of documents sent through our service.
- The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of continuous availability, though we aim for 99.9% uptime.
6. Terms of sale
Sending a one-page fax is free and unlimited. Envoi Fax Gratuit offers two paid options, sold separately, on the following terms:
- Sending a document of two pages or more: €3.99 including VAT per fax, whatever the number of pages, of which €0.66 is VAT at 20%. Payment is requested when the form is submitted.
- Acknowledgments of receipt (request acknowledgment and transmission acknowledgment, as PDFs): €3.99 including VAT per fax, of which €0.66 is VAT at 20%. Optional: the fax is sent in exactly the same way whether or not it is taken.
- Payment by card, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, in a secure form operated by Stripe, without leaving the site. The site has no access to any card data.
- Payment is authorized when ordering and charged when the fax is sent, that is when the request is confirmed. Without confirmation, the authorization is released within seven days and nothing is taken.
- Acknowledgments of receipt are emailed as soon as the payment is charged, and remain downloadable from the fax’s page.
- Right of withdrawal: it cannot be exercised for a service fully performed (French Consumer Code, art. L221-28 1°) nor for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (art. L221-28 13°) whose performance began with your express consent and express waiver, collected through a mandatory checkbox before payment.
- The prices shown before any payment are the prices charged.
- Complaints: through the contact form or to support@envoifaxgratuit.fr. A charge without supply is refunded. An invoice is provided on request.
