Our story

Connecting the world, one fax at a time.

Since 2010 our mission has been to democratise access to secure transmission technology, with a fax service that is reliable, free and open to everyone, everywhere.

EnvoiFaxGratuit, a story running since 2010

An idea taking root.

Many people have had to send a fax — sometimes an important one — without owning a fax machine. With few options available, you had to go to a shop to send a single fax, at around a euro a page. EnvoiFaxGratuit set out to give you fax sending that is 100% free, with no hidden catch.

A platform that keeps evolving.

Born from the simple idea of allowing free fax sending over the internet, the project took shape six months later. Written by a rigorous team of developers, it evolved step by step. Building a fax server able to absorb heavy traffic gave us a few programming headaches. Those solved, the platform now sends faxes simultaneously across our different lines. To keep up with demand that never stops growing, the site is watched daily by a developer who follows the evolution of your needs and maintains your services.

A goal without an end.

Because our developers have taken your needs to heart, we intend to build an application so you can send your faxes from anywhere in the world. And to keep our servers as responsive as you expect, we keep evolving our infrastructure.

We are recruiting

To keep improving the site and to make everyday paid services free, we need you. As a non-profit we cannot pay anyone. Still, if you have time and the will to join the team, do get in touch.
